MR. BARAKA INJURED BY GUNSHOTS NEAR ABU-JIBAIHA, SUDAN

On18th August 2020, Mr. Baraka Yassin Dahab was driving his commercial vehicle from Kalogi to Abu-Jibaiha town. As he approached Abu-Jibaiha, three armed men dressed in Rapid Support Force (RSF) uniform shot at the vehicle aiming at the driver. One bullet injured Mr. Baraka on his left thigh but he did not stop driving up to a point he considered safe. The passengers that he was driving carried out the first aid measures and took him to Abu-Jibaiha hospital where he received treatment. The case was reported at Abu-Jibaiha police against anonymous.

ARREST AND RELEASE OF SEVEN YOUTH BY SAF IN ROSERIES, SUDAN

On 25th August 2020, a group of SAF soldiers arrested seven youth from Ganees market in Roseries town of Blue Nile State. They were arrested because of attempting to conduct a public address meeting at the market, the arrest was before the start of the event. The arrested youth were detained at SAF headquarters in Roseries. During their detention, they were insulted, threatened and warned not to try it again otherwise they will be arrested and tortured. They were later released late in the evening
