Never Again International was founded by five students in 2001 in response to the international community's failure to prevent or end the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Never Again International connects young people from around the world to generate ideas and actions for peace. Its members in Burundi, Canada, China, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Great Britain, Rwanda and the United States work in collaborative partnership to create and carry out youth-led peace building projects that connect local and global, expertise and experience. These projects provoke critical thinking about the past to inspire ideas and action for peace.
