HUDO: Arrest of Hussein by MI in Talodi, Sudan
(31 December 2018) On 12 December 2018, Hussein Salaheldin Maali was arrested by MI in Talodi. The reason for his arrest was displaying a photo of an officer of SPLA on his Facebook account. His whereabouts are unknown and he is suspected to be under torture.
HUDO: Demonstrations in Blue Nile State of Sudan
(31 December 2018) On 13th, 16th and 23rd December 2018, there was a peaceful demonstration in Damazin and Roseires towns of Blue Nile State where people were demanding for their basic righs. Many people were detained and some were taken before court for trial.
HUDO: Court Trial of Al-Sanadra Case
(28 December 2018) The court session was held on 26 December 2018 and Khartoum North court before Justice Atif Abdalla and was attended by both lawyers’ panels while the defendents were absent. The judge adjourned court to 9 January 2019.

HUDO: Demonstration in Al Fula, Sudan
(27 December 2018) On 25 December 2018, seven people were injured during a peaceful demonstration at Al Fula town capital of West Kordofan state. Two of those injured are in serious condition.
