On 1 st March 2021, four civilians including children came from Amoura to Guisan town with their donkey carrying baobab to sell it at Guisan market. They were arrested from the market by Sudan Armed Force (SAF) lieutenant/ Abubaker Tayalla and taken to the town’s military base where they were detained and tortured.
On 28th February 2021, while Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Burma was attending to his animals (Zareeba) in Raas Elfeel, he was attacked by armed people dressed in PDF uniforms. The assailants killed him with gunshots. When the neighbours heard noise from the gun-shot, they came towards the crime scene, but the assailants had shot on them while they (assailants) are fleeing to the west direction towards the governmental territory.
On 8th March 2021, Mr. Abduelsalam Kailla Komi was released unconditionally after spending five days detained incommunicado at Sudan Armed Force (SAF) base in Talodi. During detention, he was interrogated about the ten (10) sacks/ bags of wheat flour (alleged to be subsidized commodity) that had been transported through his office (Mr.Kailla is a transport agent). But SAF confiscated the ten (10) sacks/bags of wheat flour despite no case was filed against him.
On 8th January 2021, a commercial truck driver (Mr. Ibrahim Suliman Kandagi) was traveling from Altugula gold mine to Abu-Jibaiha. His truck broke down at Gardood Toro and the passengers disembarked and used other moving vehicles. The truck driver was left alone because his assistant had gone to bring the needed spare parts to fix the truck. Suddenly, a group of four armed people with masks came and beat up the driver with sticks, took his smart phone and money from him. Later on after fixing the truck, the driver moved to Kologi town and reported/ filed the case against anonymous at Kologi police. But there has been no effort made to arrest the perpetrators.
On 16th December 2020, seven (7) armed soldiers some dressed in Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) uniform and others in Rapid Support Force (RSF) uniform with face-masks attacked farmers in Bogaya village. The farmers were attacked while they were at their farms. As a result of the attack, two farmers were injured. The names of the injured farmers are;
1. Mr. Daoud Austa Nimir (40 years old), his left arm seriously injured with multiple fractures. He was given first aid at Dilling hospital and later transferred to Khartoum hospital.
2. Mr. Ibrahim Bashir Melaise (42 years old), was injured in the right leg.
On 20thDecember 2020, a commercial truck was traveling from Abu-Jibaiha to Eljadeid gold mining area in Gadeir locality, the truck was attacked by eight armed people covering their faces with masks at a place close to Um-Elsheikh village near Kologi/ Kalogi town. The attackers shot and killed the driver (Mr. Osman Mohammed Elhassan) and robbed under gunpoint the passengers of their valuable belongings (like money and smart phones). The case was reported at Kologi town police but there is no effort that has been made to arrest the perpetrators.

On 3rd Dec 2020, Peace Activist Group (PAG) organized a public address in Gambaraya village where they were talking about peace process. Suddenly, a group of armed soldiers some dressed in Sudan armed force (SAF) uniform and others in Rapid Support Force (RSF) uniform raided the gathering. The soldiers came on eleven vehicles mounted with machine guns, they shot bullets in the air, arrested twelve people including an underage and took them to Al-Abbasiya military base where they had been confined for two days. During detention, they were intimidated and verbally insulted by calling them “NYAKAT” (it is a local word used by those in authority against Nuba people referring to them as rebels). They were also interrogated on accusations of being affiliated to SPLM-N. They were released on 5th Dec 2020 after being threatened and warned not to organize or participate in such gatherings anymore. Otherwise, they will be arrested and tortured
On 6 th December 2020, more than twenty passengers traveling on a truck from Haiban to Khartoum were blocked by Sudan Armed Force/ Military Intelligence at Al-Abbasiya town and forced to drive to the military base in town. All passengers were detained and their truck was packed at the military base. On the evening of 7th December 2020, the women and children were released after spending a night in a cell. The men stayed under detention with little amount of food and poor conditions. The reason behind their arrest is unknown and no case against them was filed
